This episode is the rare example of an in-person episode, where my good friend Manaen sat directly across from me for a fun, far-reaching, topic-hopping episode about Manaen’s favorite musical artists, the evolution of film’s relationship to music, recent trends in hip-hop, and more. The episode includes commentary on “Shock My Ears” as well as my demo “Leave No Trace,” based on the film of the same name.
