This week, I’m joined by my college friend Stephen Engstrom , who visited me in Nashville just a few months ago. This episode kicks off right where he and I left off in-person, talking about the new Superman movie, before transitioning into the main topic of the conversation: “hate songs” to Jesus, and the reasons why Stephen, as a fellow believer, finds songs which critique Jesus or the church to be extremely compelling. We then end the episode by discussing the mini-album that I made shortly after graduating college: Act, Action, and the Peace that Never Was, which was released under the “band” moniker Ours By Accident. The episode concludes with the song “Place of No Return,” which features Stephen and his brother Nicholas (aka Nick Schrader) on vocals. Speaking of, check out the awesome new music video for Nick Schrader’s latest single “Joy.”
