A regular guest host on my other podcast, my arch-nemesis Evan Dickens , joins me this week for a deep exploration into the career of Jason Martin and his band Starflyer 59, honing in specifically on the 2005 album Talking Voice vs. Singing Voice. Following this, we discuss the opening track to the re-release of Development & Compromise, the song “Saturday AM,” and I share the story of how the song came to be added to D&C after not making the original track listing. The episode ends with a 2010 demo of the song (then titled “SaturdAM”) featuring my friend Mary on vocals.
