Friends Club member and college friend Kyle Ginn joins me to discuss the topic of acoustic and stripped versions of songs and to investigate why he often gravitates toward these acoustic versions of songs. This conversation segues into my own relationship with acoustic versions of my songs and the difference between a song that’s originally written on acoustic guitar (or piano) versus one that isn’t. We then discuss my album Questions at Thirty, in particular the song “Am I stuck?” The live acoustic version of “Am I stuck?” (which is no longer available on streaming services) plays at the end of the episode.
